Maharashtra FDA Destroys 500 Litres of Suspected Adulterated Milk

Officials found about 500 litres of milk that they suspected was adulterated.

They discovered it in Bhoirwadi in Dombivli West.

The milk had reportedly come from Sangli.

The people selling it allegedly did not have a valid licence.

The Food and Drug Administration destroyed the milk so nobody could buy or drink it.

Officials are checking what may have been mixed into the milk.

They are also tracing dairies and people involved in moving and distributing it.

Further action will depend on what the investigation finds.
