Aaryavir Sehwag Set for India Under-19 Debut Alongside Dravid
Aaryavir Sehwag, the son of former India batter Virender Sehwag, has been picked for India’s Under-19 team.
He will play against Australia in his first series for the team.
Rahul Dravid’s son, Anvay Dravid, is also in the squad.
Aaryavir recently scored 297 runs in a youth tournament.
His coaches say he bats aggressively and uses some shots like his father.
They also say he works hard and does not act entitled because he is a famous cricketer’s son.
He had to wait for opportunities in the Delhi Premier League but continued training seriously.
Coaches also believe he can bowl useful leg-spin.
Selectors are interested in his ability to score quickly as a young opening batter.
