Tebas: 'Infantino Era Is Over,' Calls for FIFA Power Shift
The president of a big Spanish football league says the leader of world football should not be in charge anymore.
His name is Javier Tebas, and he is the boss of La Liga.
He gave an interview to a famous French newspaper called Le Monde.
In the interview, he said the 'Infantino era is over.'
Infantino is the president of FIFA, the group that runs world football.
Tebas thinks it is time for big changes in who runs the sport.
His strong words came soon after FIFA stopped a secret project.
That project would have let outside investors give money to a FIFA commercial business.
FIFA had to give up on that idea.
Tebas wants a major power shift in football's leadership.
La Liga president Javier Tebas launched a verbal attack on FIFA president Gianni Infantino, declaring the 'Infantino era is over.'
Tebas called for a major power shift in world football during an interview with the French newspaper Le Monde.
The attack came soon after FIFA was forced to abandon a covert project called 'FIFA Forward Enterprise.'
