UEA Announces PG Merit Scholarship for Indian Students 2026-27
The University of East Anglia in the UK is offering a special scholarship for Indian students who want to study for a master's degree in 2026 or 2027.
This scholarship is called the International PG Merit Scholarship.
It gives money to help pay for tuition fees.
Students who have good grades in their bachelor's degree can get GBP 7,000 or GBP 6,000, depending on their grades.
The scholarship is automatically given when a student gets an offer to study at UEA.
It can be used for many different courses, but not for medical degrees or some specific master's programs.
The university wants to help bright students from India and other South Asian countries to study in the UK without too much financial stress.
The University of East Anglia has announced the International PG Merit Scholarship for Indian students for the 2026-27 academic year.
Eligible students can receive GBP 7,000 (for UK 2:1 equivalent) or GBP 6,000 (for UK 2:2 equivalent) to be deducted from tuition fees.
The scholarship is automatically applied upon receiving an offer from UEA and is available for various postgraduate courses except MBBS, Integrated Masters, and a few others.
The scholarship cannot be combined with other UEA scholarships and is not available to students with fully sponsored tuition fees.
Prof Steven McGuire, UEA’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor International, emphasized the scholarship's aim to support strong academic achievement and reduce financial burden for international students.
