Arvid Lindblad Charts Punjabi-Rooted Rise Toward Formula One's Top
Arvid Lindblad is a young racing driver competing in Formula One.
He races with a British licence and has Swedish and Punjabi family roots.
His helmet shows the flags of Britain, Sweden and India.
Lindblad looks up to champion Max Verstappen but wants to build his own career.
He has scored points in nine of his last 10 races.
He has also made some mistakes, including crashes and contact with a teammate.
He says he is learning quickly because Formula One cars and engines are new to him.
A move to Red Bull in 2027 seems unlikely for now, so he may stay with Racing Bulls.
British rookie Arvid Lindblad has Punjabi roots through his Indian-ancestry mother and Swedish heritage through his father.
His helmet displays the Union Jack, Swedish flag and Indian tricolour.
Lindblad has scored points in nine of his last 10 races with Racing Bulls.
He received a Formula One super-licence at 17 as an exception to the usual rules.
