He will miss a warm-up match against Sri Lanka XI that starts on August 7.

He is expected to join his teammates in Colombo by Saturday, August 8.

The team hopes he will be fully fit for the first Test match on August 15.

India also picked four spin bowlers to help batters practise against spin.
