Congress-BJP Clash in Vijayawada Over Rahul Gandhi's Detention

In Vijayawada, Congress workers protested the detention of their leader Rahul Gandhi and police brutality against students marching towards Parliament over the NEET question paper leak.

They demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Modi and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The BJP organized a counter-protest to condemn the Congress demonstration and defend the Centre's handling of the NEET issue.

Both sides accused each other of violence and provocation.

The Congress alleged 152 paper leaks during BJP rule and police excesses, while the BJP claimed those involved in the NEET leak had been arrested.

Police were deployed to maintain law and order as tensions persisted between the workers of both parties.
