High-Voltage Graphene Supercapacitor Developed for EVs, Grid Storage

Scientists have created a new type of supercapacitor, which is like a super battery, using a special material called porous graphene carbon nanocomposite (PGCN).

This new supercapacitor can handle higher voltages (3.4 V) compared to regular ones (2.5-3.0 V), making it safer and more stable.

It can store 33% more energy, which means electric cars can go farther and faster.

The supercapacitor also lasts a long time, keeping 96% of its power even after 15,000 charges and discharges.

The material is made in an eco-friendly way using a process that doesn't harm the environment.

This new technology could be used in electric vehicles, solar panels, and even small electronics like phones.
