Nashik Collector Urges Collective Efforts to Create Global Export Hub
A leader from a city in India held a big meeting about sending products to other countries.
The leader is Ayush Prasad, the Collector of Nashik district.
He wants businesses and the government to work together to make Nashik a great place for making and selling things around the world.
He told business owners to make high-quality products that people in other countries want to buy.
He also said products should get international certificates to prove they are good.
There is a special port in Nashik called the Nashik Dry Port that can make shipping cheaper and easier.
The government said it will help businesses with approvals and paperwork.
Soon there will be a special meeting where local sellers can meet buyers from India and other countries.
This can help the city grow and create new jobs.
Nashik District Collector Ayush Prasad urged coordinated efforts to turn Nashik into a world-class manufacturing and export hub.
The appeal came at the inauguration of the Export Awareness Camp and E-Commerce Export Summit at the Nashik Engineering Cluster in Ambad.
The event was jointly organised by the District Industries Centre, the District Administration, and Central and State Government departments.
Prasad highlighted the Nashik Dry Port's potential to cut export logistics costs and improve direct access to international markets.
The District Administration and DGFT will soon host a Buyer-Seller Meet connecting local entrepreneurs with domestic and global buyers.
