Sons Murder Father for Insurance in Tamil Nadu
In Tamil Nadu, two sons and four other people planned to kill their father, E P Ganesan, to get Rs 3 crore from his life insurance.
They first tried to make a cobra bite him, but it didn't work.
Then, they used a very poisonous krait snake to bite him on the neck, which killed him.
They made it look like an accident by killing the snake and delaying taking him to the hospital.
The insurance company found something suspicious and told the police, who then investigated and found out the truth.
Now, all six people have been arrested.
E P Ganesan, a 56-year-old government school laboratory assistant, was found dead in his home in Pothaturpettai village, initially reported as a snake bite accident.
An insurance company flagged suspicious claims, leading to a deeper investigation by the police.
Ganesan's two sons and four facilitators conspired to murder him for Rs 3 crore in insurance payouts.
The conspirators used a highly venomous krait snake to bite Ganesan on the neck, a fatal location, and staged the scene to look like an accident.
