Karmakar Family Celebrates Shooting Success and New Range
A young shooter named Adriyan Karmakar won medals at a big competition in Germany.
His father, Joydeep Karmakar, was busy building a new shooting range in Calcutta.
The new range is the biggest in the city and has lots of lanes for people to practice.
Adriyan had to deal with cold weather and wind at the competition, which made it tricky.
He is now preparing for future events, including the Asian Championship.
Adriyan Karmakar won silver and bronze at the ISSF Junior World Cup in Germany.
Joydeep Karmakar opened the largest shooting range in Calcutta on June 4.
The new indoor range has 20 lanes and is located near the Dum Dum airport.
