Advanced e-POS Machines Distributed to Fair Price Shops in Anantapur
The government is giving new, fancy machines to the people who run fair price shops in Anantapur.
These new machines, called e-POS machines, are like updated cash registers that use Android and can read fingerprints.
They will make sure that when people buy things from the fair price shops, everything is done fairly and recorded correctly.
Over 1,600 shops will get these machines by the end of September, and the workers will be trained on how to use them.
The goal is to make the system of distributing essential goods more transparent and accurate.
Advanced e-POS machines are being distributed to 1,645 fair price shop dealers.
The distribution took place at Krishna Kalakshetram in Anantapur.
The machines are based on Android and have biometric authentication.
These machines will ensure transparency and accurate recording.
