Top Brokerages Bullish on 8 Stocks With Up to 42% Upside

Big financial research companies, called brokerages, study businesses that sell shares to the public.

After those companies shared their first-quarter results, the brokerages wrote reports saying they believe eight of them will do well.

When a brokerage likes a stock, it gives a 'target price' — the price it thinks the share could reach.

The reports suggest the shares could rise by about 9% to 42%.

The eight companies make aircraft, trucks and auto parts, run hospitals, sell eyewear, trade gold and other commodities, build water treatment plants, and sell life insurance.

The analysts point to strong sales, growing demand, and big order backlogs.

For example, hospital chain Apollo Hospitals grew its revenue by 21% from last year, and aircraft maker HAL has an order book of about $26 billion.

But these predictions are not guarantees, and stock prices can go down as well as up, so investors should always do their own research first.
