Waqf Board Director Shaik Khaja Joins TDP, Citing Naidu's Vision
Shaik Khaja, a director of Andhra Pradesh’s State Waqf Board, joined the Telugu Desam Party, or TDP.
The party welcomed him at its central office in Mangalagiri on Thursday.
TDP state president Palla Srinivasa Rao welcomed Khaja.
Several ministers, party members and other officials attended.
Khaja said he joined because he liked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s vision for the state.
He also said Naidu supports Muslim minorities.
Khaja said he would help make the TDP stronger.
He plans to do this under the leadership of Naidu and Nara Lokesh.
