Court Grants 10-Day Custody in QFX Fraud Case
A court has given the Enforcement Directorate (ED) permission to keep Anuj Tyagi in custody for 10 days.
This is related to a case where people were tricked out of money by a company called QFX.
The ED says QFX promised high returns from forex trading but actually ran a scam.
They believe Anuj Tyagi helped manage the money from the scam.
The court thinks it's important to question him to find out more about the fraud.
The ED will have to bring him back to court on December 15, 2025, and they have to make sure he is healthy and can talk to his lawyer.
Special PMLA Court granted ED 10-day custody of Anuj Tyagi in QFX investment fraud case.
ED alleged QFX Trade Limited operated an MLM scheme promising high forex trading returns.
Anuj Tyagi accused of handling proceeds of crime and managing bank accounts for fraudulent investments.
Defense argued Tyagi was innocent and not named in original FIRs, cooperated with investigation.
Court found prima facie merit in ED's contentions, deemed custodial interrogation necessary.
