Zootopia 2 Dominates Global Box Office

Zootopia 2, the sequel to the popular animated movie Zootopia, had a huge opening at the box office.

It made $556 million globally in just a few days, which is a new record for animated movies.

In North America, it earned $96 million over the weekend and $156 million over the five-day Thanksgiving holiday.

The movie did especially well in China, making $272 million, which is almost half of its total earnings.

This big success could mean good things for the movie industry, especially since this year has been tough for theaters.

Other movies like Wicked: For Good also did well, showing that people are still going to see movies in theaters.

Experts think this could be a sign that the movie industry might have a strong end to the year.

The movie stars Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, and Idris Elba, who all returned for the sequel.

It's about talking animals solving crimes and fighting stereotypes.

Other movies that did well include Wicked: For Good, Now You See Me: Now You Don't, Predator: Badlands, and The Running Man.
