Ex-Lodha Director Remanded to Custody in Alleged Fraud Case
Rajendra Lodha, who used to be in charge of a real estate company, is in trouble.
Police say he bought land for the company at a high price after it was initially purchased at a lower price.
The difference in price is what the police allege is a fraud, and he is accused of using his authority for personal gain.
The police also found money transactions between Lodha's son and the company that sold the land to Lodha's company.
A court has now ordered that he be kept in custody while the case continues.
