Man Walks Around the World for 27 Years Without Transportation
Imagine a man who decided to walk all around the whole world, like a super long hike!
His name is Karl, and he's been walking for 27 years already.
He started in a country called Chile and hasn't used any cars, trains, or boats, not even to cross big oceans.
He walked across icy places and even swam across a sea for 31 days!
He's visited lots of countries and walked more than 50,000 kilometers.
He faced tough challenges like dangerous forests and even got arrested.
Now, he's finally back in Europe and hopes to get home next year.
He calls his big adventure the Goliath Expedition, which is like a giant's journey!
British ex-paratrooper Karl Bushby has been walking around the world for 27 years without using any transportation.
He began his 'Goliath Expedition' in November 1998 in Chile and aims to return to Hull, England, on foot.
Bushby has crossed continents, including walking across the Bering Strait on ice and swimming across the Caspian Sea.
During his journey, he has encountered challenges such as dangerous terrains, captivity by soldiers, visa issues in Russia, and being stranded in Kazakhstan due to COVID-19.
After visiting 25 countries and walking over 50,000 kilometers, Bushby is currently in Europe and is expected to reach his hometown next year.
