Gandhi Talks Teaser: Silent Film on Greed

Gandhi Talks is a new silent film starring Vijay Sethupathi, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Arvind Swami.

It premiered at the IFFI Goa in 2023 and explores themes of greed and corruption.

The teaser is intense and intriguing, with striking visuals and haunting background music.

The film follows Mahadev, an unemployed graduate who faces moral compromises in his search for a job.

It uses powerful imagery like currency notes to highlight the clash between Gandhian ideals and modern greed.

The film is set to release in theaters on January 30, 2026, coinciding with Mahatma Gandhi's death anniversary.

A review noted that the film starts as a brilliant commentary but shifts to a sentimental melodrama, which was disappointing.

The film features music by AR Rahman and includes a scene where three characters play hide and seek.
