India Leads US Immigrant Billionaire Birthplaces With 19

Forbes made a list of very wealthy people in the United States who were born in other countries.

In 2026, the list included 144 billionaires from 45 countries.

Together, they were worth $2.2 trillion.

India was the country where the most of these billionaires were born, with 19 people.

Israel and Taiwan followed with 11 each.

Some new India-born names on the list helped build technology companies.

Several of them came to the United States to study or pursue business opportunities.

However, none of the India-born billionaires was in the overall top 10.

The top 10 included people such as Elon Musk, Sergey Brin and Jensen Huang.
