Sunshine Pictures IPO Draws Strong Demand, Analysts Split

Sunshine Pictures IPO Draws Strong Demand, Analysts Split

Sunshine Pictures is selling shares to the public through an IPO.

Many investors have applied for the shares, and demand rose sharply by the third day.

Retail investors and other non-institutional investors showed especially strong interest.

The shares cost between Rs 342 and Rs 360 each.

An unofficial market estimate suggests they might start trading near Rs 437, but this estimate can change.

Some analysts worry that making films and web series can be unpredictable and that the company needs a lot of working capital.

Other analysts believe its films, web series, music and digital businesses could grow as more people consume online content.

The IPO is scheduled to list on the BSE and NSE on August 25.
