British Airways Manager Convicted of Sexual Assault in England

A British Airways manager named Amardip Dhariwal was found guilty of sexually assaulting a colleague.

The incident was said to have happened at his home in Berkshire in May 2022.

The woman told police that she woke up and found Dhariwal touching her without permission.

She waited until he stopped and then left the house to get help.

A jury at Reading Crown Court found Dhariwal guilty after a nine-day trial.

An earlier trial ended without the jury reaching a decision.

Dhariwal said the encounter was consensual, but the new jury rejected that defense.

He will be sentenced later and is currently on conditional bail.
