Mumbai Firm Reports Alleged ₹3.82 Crore Procurement Fraud

ANJ Turnkey Projects says an audit found suspicious bills for materials that never arrived at its factory.

The bills were linked to three vendors and added up to about ₹3.82 crore.

The company’s complaint alleges that two procurement managers created purchase orders for the materials.

It also alleges that a quality-check employee signed papers saying the goods had arrived.

The complaint says the invoices were then processed for payment.

The company reported the matter to police in Mumbai.

Police have registered a case and are investigating the allegations.

The company is also checking whether there were more questionable orders or losses.
