Departments Prepare for National Chief Secretaries Conference
Many government departments in Madhya Pradesh are working hard to make presentations for a big meeting in Delhi.
This meeting is called the fifth national Chief Secretaries conference and will be held from December 26 to 28.
Each department has a special topic to talk about, like education, sports, and helping tribal communities.
The main idea of the meeting is to make India stronger by focusing on people's skills and education.
Madhya Pradesh wants to improve its higher education numbers and has plans to do this by setting up new schools and making sure more students learn useful skills.
The Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh, Anurag Jain, will go to the meeting and might talk to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Around a dozen government departments in Madhya Pradesh are preparing theme-based presentations for the fifth national Chief Secretaries conference in Delhi from December 26-28.
Each department has been assigned specific sub-themes, such as early childhood education, skilling for a future-ready workforce, and empowering tribal communities.
Chief Secretary Anurag Jain will attend the conference, chaired by PM Narendra Modi, and may interact with him during the Tribal Affairs Department presentation.
Madhya Pradesh's Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in higher education is 28.3, below the national average of 29.5, with a target to reach 33 by 2027.
The state's action plan includes setting up 10 mega educational clusters, establishing five multi-varsities, and increasing the number of international students.
