Ujjain SDM Suspended Over Controversial Order
A government official named Anand Malviya in Ujjain, India, was suspended from his job.
He made an official order that talked about a minister's rude comment and blamed the local government for giving dirty water that made people sick.
Fourteen people died, and many others got sick.
The order also said that the minister's comment was mean and showed bad leadership.
But the official made a mistake because he didn't check the facts properly before making the order.
So, his boss suspended him for not following the right rules and for making incorrect statements.
Ujjain SDM Anand Malviya was suspended for issuing an order that cited Kailash Vijayvargiya's 'ghanta' remark as 'authoritarian behaviour'.
The order blamed the BJP-run municipal corporation for supplying contaminated water, leading to 14 deaths and 2,800 people seeking treatment.
The order was deemed procedurally improper and factually inaccurate, leading to Malviya's suspension.
Malviya admitted that parts of the order were taken from a Congress WhatsApp group and official health data.
The suspension was proposed by the Dewas Collector's office, citing grave negligence and irregularity in official duties.
