Andhra Pradesh Mandates Online Services via Manamitra
The Andhra Pradesh government has decided that all services provided by its departments must be available online, exclusively through a platform called Manamitra on WhatsApp.
The Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, wants all services to be easily accessible to citizens through this digital platform.
Currently, some departments are still providing services manually, but they have been instructed to switch to online mode immediately.
The government is also working on creating more than 50 new use cases to make the platform even more useful.
These new features will be ready by the end of April.
The platform, called AWARE, also provides real-time weather information and other benefits.
The government is asking district collectors to help spread awareness about this new system so that more people can use it.
