TRAI Serves Show-Cause Notices to Broadcasters Over Ad Duration Data
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) sent notices to many broadcasters for not submitting data about how long ads were shown on their channels.
This is because of rules made in 2012 that say broadcasters can only show ads for 12 minutes each hour.
The broadcasting industry thinks these rules are hard to follow and are fighting them in court.
Some broadcasters might have sent their data late.
