Digger Uses Wild Satire to Confront Environmental Collapse

Digger is a movie about a very powerful oil billionaire named Digger Rockwell.

He keeps supporting drilling even when it causes a huge environmental disaster.

The president and other important people support him.

An environmental official named Ganesh tries to stop him but is mostly ignored.

The movie makes fun of people who put money and power before nature.

It uses strange images, loud acting and unusual camera angles to show that the world is badly out of balance.

Some parts are confusing and the story sometimes wanders.

The reviewer especially likes the movie’s detailed sets and its final scenes.

Overall, the film finds some valuable ideas beneath its noisy satire.
