Visa Delays Affect Indian Athletes' Asian Games Prep
Some Indian athletes are having trouble getting visas to go to Japan for the Asian Games.
Most of the team is already there getting ready, but a few athletes are still waiting for their visas.
This might mean they have less time to get used to the place before the games start.
The people in charge are hoping the visa problem will be fixed soon so the athletes can join their teammates.
The games will start on September 23, 2026, in Aichi-Nagoya.
4-5 Indian athletes face visa delays for the 2026 Asian Games in Japan.
Most of the 74-member athletics team has already reached Japan for preparations.
Visa clearance issues may reduce acclimatisation time for affected athletes.
The Athletics Federation of India is optimistic about resolving the visa issue soon.
Athletics events at the Asian Games are scheduled to begin on September 23, 2026.
