iOS 27 Brings Apple Intelligence Productivity Tools to iPhone
Apple’s iOS 27 update adds new tools to help people work more quickly on their iPhones.
Apple Intelligence can find useful information while someone is on a phone call.
It can look through apps such as Mail, Calendar, and Messages for relevant details.
People can also describe a task in ordinary language and have the phone build a shortcut for it.
Siri can understand what is shown on the screen and help with documents or presentations.
Siri conversations can be continued across an iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Writing tools can summarize text, create drafts, and change the tone of messages.
Safari can organize research tabs and notify users when selected webpages change.
The update works on iPhone 11 and newer models, but Apple Intelligence requires a supported device.
iOS 27 introduces Apple Intelligence features designed to reduce administrative work on compatible iPhones.
Call Context can surface relevant details from Mail, Calendar, and Messages during active calls.
Describe a Shortcut lets users create multi-app workflows using natural-language instructions.
Siri gains onscreen awareness, cross-device conversations, and systemwide writing tools.
Safari adds Tab Topics for research organization and Notify Me alerts for webpage updates.
