Cummins India Appoints Soma Dilip Ghosh as New CFO
Imagine a company called Cummins India needs a new person to manage its money.
They've chosen Soma Dilip Ghosh to be the 'money manager', also known as the CFO.
She's starting this new job on July 21, 2025.
Before this, the job was temporarily held by Prasad Kulkarni.
When Ghosh starts, Kulkarni will move to a different role within the company, focusing on finances for a specific part of the business.
Ghosh has a lot of experience in finance, having worked in similar roles previously.
She will be responsible for overseeing all of Cummins India's finances.
She's also got a background that includes managing risk and making sure the company follows all the rules.
Soma Dilip Ghosh is appointed as the new CFO of Cummins India.
The appointment is effective July 21, 2025.
Prasad Kulkarni will step down from the interim CFO role.
Kulkarni will continue as Director – Finance Controller for the Distribution Business Unit.
Ghosh previously worked at ZF Group as Head of Finance.
