Singareni CMD Urges Accelerated Coal Production Post-Monsoon
The boss of a coal company called Singareni, Mr. Balram, told his managers that they need to dig up and send out a lot more coal now that the heavy rains are over.
They lost some production because of the rain, so they have to work harder to catch up.
He wants them to dig up a specific amount of coal and remove a lot of dirt every day to reach their goal for November.
Safety is also very important, and he wants everyone to work carefully.
They also talked about starting four new coal mines soon and making sure one big mine produces a lot of coal by next year.
Singareni CMD N. Balram has ordered a ramp-up in coal production and dispatch to recover from monsoon-induced losses.
The company aims to meet its November target of 72 lakh tonnes of coal production and dispatch.
Daily targets include 2.4 lakh tonnes of coal production/dispatch and 13.75 lakh cubic meters of overburden removal.
Emphasis was placed on safety, with a directive for efficient operations and zero tolerance for negligence.
Progress on new projects was reviewed, including the VK Open Cast Mine's target of 6 lakh tonnes by March 2026 and launching four new mines this year.
