Pune NGO Helps 40,000+ Land Jobs

Lighthouse Communities Foundation (LCF) is an NGO that helps young people from underserved communities find jobs.

Started in 2016 in Pune, it now operates in several states across India.

LCF doesn't just teach fixed skills like many other programs.

Instead, it asks young people what they want to do and then helps them get the training and support they need.

They have special centers called 'Lighthouses' where they teach confidence, communication, and job skills.

So far, over 40,000 people have found jobs through LCF, and nearly 2.8 lakh young people have been reached through their programs.

LCF also helps people start their own businesses and checks in on them for six months after they start working.
