BRS Demands Withdrawal of Cases Against Jurala Farmers

Some farmers wanted water from the Jurala project to help their crops.

The BRS says the farmers opened gates after irrigation officials stayed silent.

Police cases were filed against 11 farmers.

BRS leader T. Harish Rao criticized the government over the cases.

He said crops were drying because farmers were not getting enough irrigation.

The BRS wants the cases withdrawn.

It also wants the government to provide water to help save the crops.
