Congress, SP Clash Over Claims on Defeating BJP Uttar Pradesh

Congress leaders disagreed with that idea.

The BJP said people in Uttar Pradesh already support its government.
The next state election will choose all 403 Assembly members.
It is expected to happen in several stages in 2027.
