During the rainy season, traffic police officers in Dombivli stand outside on roads for many hours to keep traffic moving and people safe.

The rain makes their job very hard, especially when roads get flooded.

Two groups, Rustomjee Urban Woods and Tisai Group, decided to help them by giving them raincoats.

A raincoat keeps a person dry when it is raining outside.

A politician named Sulabha Gaikwad, who is an MLA from Kalyan East, came to the event as the chief guest.

She thanked the police officers for working in rain and sunshine to protect citizens.

Company leaders and senior police officers also attended the event.

A senior police officer named Milind Zodge said such help builds trust between police and the public.

The raincoats will give officers basic protection as they do their outdoor duties in the monsoon.
