Professor's Passion: Balancing Idol Making with Medical Career

Dr. Biplabendu Talukdar, a professor at a medical college, has loved making idols since he was a child.

Despite his busy job, he still carves out time to create idols of Goddess Jagadhatri.

He learned by watching artists and gets support from his family and colleagues.

His passion has continued even after the loss of close family members.

This year marks the 45th year of his Jagadhatri Puja celebrations.

He uses materials like clay and bamboo, and works on his art late at night.
