Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium Replaces Bengaluru for Women's Cricket World Cup
The Women's Cricket World Cup is coming to India, but there's been a last-minute change.
The games were supposed to be in Bengaluru, but they had to move because the stadium there wasn't ready.
Now, the matches will be played in Mumbai at the DY Patil Stadium.
This is because the old stadium had some problems and wasn't safe enough after a recent accident.
The World Cup is a big deal, and this is the first time it's in India in 12 years.
The matches will also be held in other cities like Guwahati, Indore, Visakhapatnam, and Colombo.
The India-Pakistan match will be held in Colombo as the teams don't play each other in their own countries.
Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium replaces Bengaluru's Chinnaswamy Stadium for the Women's ODI World Cup.
The change was due to Bengaluru failing to secure necessary administrative and security clearances.
DY Patil Stadium will host up to five matches, including the opener, a semifinal, and possibly the final.
The decision followed a stampede incident at the Bengaluru stadium in June, resulting in casualties.
