Ex-Tirupati Official Denies Adulterated Ghee Claims
A former official of the Tirupati temple, YV Subba Reddy, has denied claims that 20 crore laddoos made between 2019 and 2024 contained bad ghee.
He says these claims are false and made for political reasons.
He welcomes an ongoing investigation and says the claims are not backed by science.
The opposing party, TDP, says the previous government used bad ingredients and that their government has fixed the issue.
They say tests showed bad things like fish oil and beef fat in the ghee.
The investigation is still going on, and both sides are waiting for the results.
YV Subba Reddy denies allegations of adulterated ghee in 20 crore Tirumala laddoos, calling them political propaganda.
He welcomes the ongoing SIT probe and questions the credibility of unverified claims and selective leaks.
Subba Reddy points out that four suspicious ghee tankers were rejected and never used, questioning why they are being cited again.
TDP and NDA leaders allege large-scale corruption in procurement and demand full transparency.
The SIT report is awaited, and both sides are waiting for the scientific findings to conclude the matter.
