Indore's 132 kV Lines Gain Nearly Triple Capacity Using HTLS

Indore's 132 kV Lines Gain Nearly Triple Capacity Using HTLS

Indore needs to move more electricity because the city is growing.

Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company is upgrading some existing power lines.

It is replacing older conductors with High Temperature Low Sag conductors.

These new conductors can carry nearly three times as much electricity.

They can do this without needing new transmission lines in the same corridors.

The work involves lines connecting several substations in Indore.

Fourteen feeder bays and related equipment will also be upgraded.

The project is intended to improve power flow and support Indore and nearby areas.
