Gurugram Flooding Blamed on Growth as MPs Promise 2047 Fix

Gurugram Flooding Blamed on Growth as MPs Promise 2047 Fix

Gurugram has been badly flooded after heavy rain.

Some roads filled with water, and school buses became stuck.

MP Dharambir Singh said the city grew much faster than planners expected.

He also said old drains became narrower because of construction.

He blamed sudden heavy rain and changing weather for making the problem worse.

He said a new plan for 2047 will fix the city’s needs.

MP Rao Inderjit Singh blamed earlier Congress-era development over the old drains.

He said underground tunnels could carry the water away, while today’s fixes are only temporary.
