Indian Overseas Bank Waives Minimum Balance Charges
IOB is making banking easier!
They are getting rid of fees for not keeping a certain amount of money in their basic savings accounts (SB-Public).
This change starts in October.
This means if your account balance dips below the required amount, you won't be charged.
However, this change only affects basic accounts; other premium accounts still have the minimum balance requirement.
IOB hopes this helps its customers.
Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) is waiving minimum balance charges for SB-Public accounts.
The waiver takes effect on October 1.
Penal charges will continue to apply until September 30.
The move aims to improve customer banking experiences.
Minimum balance charges remain for premium savings accounts.
