Telangana CM Skips Republic Day

Telangana CM Skips Republic Day

Telangana's Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, is missing the Republic Day celebrations this year.

He is in the United States, learning at Harvard University.

This is the first time an Indian Chief Minister has gone to an Ivy League school.

He is taking a program called 'Leadership: 21st Century' which includes classes, group work, and assignments.

The program runs from January 25 to 30.

Last year, the previous Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, also skipped the celebrations because he had a disagreement with the Governor.

This year, the Governor will hoist the flag, and other important people will be there.

It's a big day to celebrate India's Constitution.

The area is facing a winter emergency due to a heavy snowstorm.
