Siddharth Bodke to Play Subrata Roy in Scam 2010
A new TV show called Scam 2010 is being made.
It tells the true story of a businessman named Subrata Roy.
Mr. Roy started a very big company called the Sahara Group in 1978.
The company became one of India's largest business empires.
Later, he was investigated by SEBI, a group that makes sure money rules are followed in India.
SEBI said he collected more than Rs 24,000 crore from investors the wrong way.
That led to a big legal battle.
The show is based on a book called Sahara: The Untold Story.
The same director made other scam shows before this one.
Actor Siddharth Bodke plays Mr. Roy in the new series.
SonyLIV unveiled the first look at Siddharth Bodke as businessman Subrata Roy in the upcoming series Scam 2010.
The series is directed by Hansal Mehta, who also directed Scam 1992 and served as showrunner on Scam 2003.
Scam 2010 is the third instalment of the Scam franchise and is backed by Birla Studios and Applause Entertainment.
The show is adapted from Tamal Bandyopadhyay's book Sahara: The Untold Story and follows the rise and downfall of Sahara Group founder Subrata Roy.
Roy founded the Sahara India Pariwar conglomerate in 1978 and was later investigated by SEBI for allegedly raising over Rs 24,000 crore from investors unlawfully.
