Delhi Court Summons FSL Director in Kejriwal Defacement Case
A Delhi court is asking the head of the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) to come to court because they haven't sent in a report.
The case is about Arvind Kejriwal and others being accused of putting up big posters that defaced property back in 2019.
The court had previously ordered the police to file a formal complaint about the case.
The judge said that putting up banners and hoardings broke the rules.
Now, the FSL director needs to appear in person to talk about this.
Delhi court issued notice to FSL director to appear on June 28.
The notice follows a previous order requesting a report from the FSL.
The case involves alleged defacement of property by Arvind Kejriwal and others in 2019.
An FIR was ordered against Kejriwal, Gulab Singh, and Nitika Sharma for putting up large banners.
The complaint alleges misuse of public money for installing the hoardings.
