VNSGU to Introduce Jain Chair for Religious Studies
Veer Narmad South Gujarat University is starting a new program called a "Jain chair."
This means they'll have special classes and research about Jainism, a religion that teaches things like not hurting others and taking care of the environment.
The university hopes to teach people about important Jain ideas, like how to live peacefully and make good choices.
The program will also look at how these ideas can help with today's problems, like saving the planet and working together to solve conflicts.
This new program follows the country's new education rules, aiming to teach students about many different subjects and values.
Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) is set to introduce a Jain chair.
The Jain chair will be hosted by the Department of Religious Studies at VNSGU.
The aim is to promote research and education in Jain philosophy, ethics, and culture.
The course will address modern challenges like sustainable business and conflict resolution.
