Inside Jisshu Sengupta’s Four-Storey Lake Gardens Home
Actor Jisshu Sengupta showed viewers around his four-storey home in Kolkata.
He moved there in 2012, and his wife, Nilaanjana, designed most of it.
The house has a bar, a gym and a room on the terrace where Sengupta works and relaxes.
He also has a special corner for filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh, who was an important mentor to the couple.
Many things in that corner were gifts from Ghosh.

Jisshu Sengupta moved into his current four-storey bungalow in Kolkata’s Lake Gardens in 2012.
He said his wife, Nilaanjana, designed 98.98 per cent of the home, with wooden elements, greenery, muted colours and stained glass.
The home includes a bar, a private gym, a terrace den and a corner dedicated to filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh.
Sengupta said the Rituparno Ghosh corner contains gifts from his late mentor, who became a guardian to him and Nilaanjana after his mother died in 2008.
The terrace den is where Sengupta reads scripts, holds meetings and spends much of his day; friends and colleagues are welcome there.
