Ancient Cube-Shaped Skull Found in Mexico
Scientists in Mexico found a very old skull that is shaped like a cube.
This skull is 1,400 years old and belonged to a 40-year-old man who lived in Mexico a long time ago.
The shape of his skull was changed on purpose when he was a baby by using boards and bandages.
This practice was common in that area, but what makes this skull special is that it is the only one of its kind found in that region.
Usually, people in ancient Mexico changed the shape of their skulls for different reasons, like making them look more beautiful.
However, in this case, scientists are not sure why only this man had a cube-shaped skull.
A 1,400-year-old cube-shaped skull was discovered in Mexico's Tamaulipas state.
The skull belonged to a 40-year-old man from the Classic period (400-900 AD).
The cube shape was due to intentional cranial deformation, a traditional practice in the region.
This is the first cube-shaped skull found in the Huasteca region, making it unprecedented.
The reason why only this man underwent this process remains a mystery.
