Bharat Parv 2026 Showcases Punjab and Andhra Pradesh Heritage

At Bharat Parv 2026 in New Delhi, the Punjabi Folk Orchestra and Qalandri Dhamal will perform.

The orchestra uses traditional instruments like the dhol and flute to play folk melodies.

Twelve students play these instruments together, showing teamwork and their knowledge of Punjabi music.

Qalandri Dhamal is a Sufi dance that expresses love and devotion to God.

Dancers move freely to the music, wearing heavy ankle bells.

Additionally, Andhra Pradesh Day was celebrated with a grand Kuchipudi classical dance performance by 46 artists.

This event showcased the grace, elegance, and spiritual depth of Andhra Pradesh’s classical dance tradition.

Both performances aimed to share the vibrant culture and spiritual traditions of Punjab and Andhra Pradesh with the audience.
