Pune's Yutak Trust to Host Queer Garba-Dandiya Event
Imagine a fun dance party, but only for people who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community!
That's what Yutak Trust in Pune is organizing.
It's a Garba-Dandiya night, which means there will be traditional Indian music and dancing.
They're doing this because, sadly, some people in the LGBTQIA+ community feel unwelcome or even get treated badly at regular dance events.
This special night is a safe space for everyone to enjoy themselves, make friends, and be themselves.
They've been doing this for four years, and people travel from far away to attend.
Everyone is welcome, even those who support the LGBTQIA+ community!
Yutak LGBTQ Trust Pune is hosting a 'Queers Garba-Dandiya Night' on September 28.
The event aims to provide a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTQIA+ community.
This is the fourth year Yutak Trust has organized the event.
Participants come from various districts in Maharashtra.
Supporters of the LGBTQIA+ community are welcome to attend.
